I was in search of a mental health professional and Marcia S. Gibson PSY.D. and Associates came up in my search. I called the practice to get more information and from the very start they fully explained the process for appointment setting and walked me through the paperwork and insurance process to make my first session with Dr. Gibson a welcoming experience. I highly recommend Dr. Gibson. Her patience and understanding is exemplary.

I have been going to Dr Marcia for over two years now. She is a compassionate listener and has so many options available for her to help you. She has helped me in so many ways, although I continue to see her for ongoing issues. I would most definitely recommend her to anyone who is seeking help with issues that they can’t solve themselves. At this time we don’t know how truthful the information we keep getting from this clinic. They tell my wife the doctor takes kids and then the night before the appointment, they now say they don’t. We filled out all questioners that they have send. The initial appointment was cancelled because they said the doctor was sick which is understandable. But telling us that this doctor doesn’t take kids and also the type of insurance we have after all the time between the initial appointment and the rescheduled one is mind boggling... read more

Jessica Deron spends more time during session speaking about herself than letting the client talk. She uses religious language (it might be ok for some but not for all), even when she is told that client is non-religious she insists on using this type of linguistics. She second guesses firm decisions of clients wanting to cut unhealthy relationships (because is the parent, child, sibling, husband etc.) instead of giving tools to deal with a life change or situation.
