Do not make investments through First Horizon Bank. Their arm, LPL Financial (formally, First Horizons Advisors) sells you product without fully knowing how they work. In this case it was Paul Lankau. It cost me $5000. I waited 7 years before i was able to pull out my funds and expecting to receive what was due based on a certain level of an index at a particular date from the last reset date the previous year. ZERO stars! Horrible experience. I would not use this bank ever again. I was selling a home in Tampa and purchasing a home in Jupiter, Florida, in October, 2024. My mortgage advisor put me into a 7-year arm and told me I could re-amortize my mortgage as soon as I paid the loan principal down when I sold my home in Tampa, which I did a month later.
