Dr.Marchosky's skill, experience, compassionate and devotion have seen me through many medical crises, including brain tumor, neck and head injury and DVT. I am continuing to be deeply saddened by the callous treatment towards him by St. Luke's Hospital. He will always have my respect and loyalty. SHAME on St. Luke's Hospital.

Almost killed my mother! Don't go to this doctor! Did 1 surgery...didn't get tumor, nicked her vertebral artery. She had to go back to OR and have her artery tied. She was in hospital for 10 days. Needed a nurse at home for balance issues. Later went to Dr. Bucholtz at SLUH who was excellent..got tumor and she was out of hospital in 3 days w/no home care.

I was referred to Dr. Marchosky by my primary care physician due to sever pain in my neck and right shoulder. I told him that I wanted to get a second opinion and he said, “If you leave this hospital, you’ll return paralyzed and in a wheel chair. You need this surgery now.” Fearing the worst, I consented to the operation. The operation relieved the pain, but now the right side of my neck and right shoulder are numb and my right arm is... read more

i was told I needed surgery on my l4 and l5. After surgery I was in such pain he said he would have to go back in. (10 days later) after the second surgery severe pain gone but completly numb from knee down and extreme pain from the back, butt and legs. Went to another surgeon and after x rays, MRIs, and cat scans i was told that the nerve was pinched during the first surgery which caused nerve damage. Told to start therapy and that it might help. After 20 weeks of therapy and lots of expense out of my pocket only slight impr... read more

I went in for surgery on my back. L3 was the problem. He said he fixed the problem at L3. But, when I came out of surgery nothing below the waist was working correctly. He said it would all come back in time. After about 18 months everything was not coming back and the back pain etc. had not let up. I got a second opinion and found out after extensive testing that he nicked my spinal cord and caused a small bag to form and he had not done anything about the L3 problem. I had surgery by another Dr. and he fixed the L3 problem... read more
