I engaged Marchant and sons to paint the hard to reach areas of the outside of my house. They weren't the cheapest quote, but I was impressed by the quality statements in their quote. The statements were completely untrue. I provided the paint. Two young men arrived and starting painting straight away - no preparation whatsoever. They slapped the paint on with no thought of filling, sanding or any other sort of preparation, despite the quotation saying they would scrape and sand all areas before painting.
