Don't let the interior of this sub shop fool you - the food was great! We took our sandwiches to go and had a picnic down by the harbor.
Upon celebrating our anniversary in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, my husband and I stumbled upon this wonderful whiskey and cocktail bar called NEAT hidden in the back of a sub shop on the water. It really was a speakeasy and had an intimate and cool vibe with an inviting bar & small tables as well as great music playing on the record player. Always good, always a stop when we’re in town! The bread is amazing and if you’re lucky, the fun little whiskey bar in the back will be open.
Amazing subs. Came all the way from Florida to try. Got the God Gather and it was So good, I didn’t even get a picture.
