The food is fantastic. The Bitterballs were fantastic. They were as good as ice had in Amsterdam.

First things first I just found this place in Toledo when I was searching for a new place to eat. Didn't know that this place has been open for about a year. Went there because the pictures from Google review that I found look very tasty and flavorful. The butter that you see in the picture is salt pepper garlic Worcestershire sauce and lemon the combination is unreal for the French bread that comes out with it. Marcel’s has become our favorite restaurant when we dine out! Everything is fabulous! It’s not your average steak and potato place. Instead, one will dine on flavorful dishes created by Chef himself! Beef, fish, pasta; all prepared with a Netherlands touch! Chef can accommodate specific diets easily. Chef Marcel brings a warm, friendly and delicious restaurant to Sylvania. His special nights are delights - the Wine Tasting, the Indonesian Rijsttafel not to mention the best corned beef boxed dinner I've ever eaten.
