When we first signed up with Dr Ionita, the service was great. Two years later, we are unable to see the doctor because he is booked solid. Was directed to the nurse practitioner for my annual physical. After three phone calls from me…. Someone finally explained my blood work results. UNPROFESSIONAL: I’ve been a patient at Dr. Ionita's office for almost a year and have always found the staff courteous and efficient...until today. After calling to follow-up on a refill request, Blanca informed me he was out of town and nobody was available to authorize a refill. Fine. But when I asked calmly and politely what steps I should take, she snapped back and said, "I don't know what to tell you!" and "I told you he's returning on Tuesday." No guidance. No empathy. Horrible front desk . Never gets a phone message to any doctor or nurse . You have to call 5 times at least to get anything done . The doctor and nurse Are very good . Frustrated to have to deal with the lack of attention with the front desk not being helpful.
