I was diagnosed by Dr Stephen’s 2 1/2 years ago with a compression fracture caused by osteoporosis. I kept having pain and continued going back to see him complaining that I wasn’t getting better. He heavily discouraged me to consider a procedure such as kyphoplasty stating that it was risky. He said sometimes it takes a year to heal and get pain relief. This is not my doctor but he treats my father he was told that he needed to go to Baptist Hospital ER because he said that he has in infection in his joints and that Baptist was the only hospital equipped to handle what he needed and that he would send a referral for him. We get to Baptist hospital and there is no referral that they can find and after waiting in the ER for 10 hours they released him and sent him home with a prescription from a steroid and there was no signs of infection and that he had gout which is what thi... read more
He is an excellent, caring physician. He has helped me in the past with a shoulder issue and my husband with both his back and now his knee. I highly recommend him.
