I'm new to this practice. I had come in for a filling. My first visit was just a check up to see what was needed. From the front desk to the hygienist to Dr Purdy was smooth sailing. All involved were pleasant and accommodating. I returned today to get my filling and there was a little bit of a wait. The dental assistant (I've forgotten her name!) sat with me and chatted awhile while waiting for the doc. She explained what was to happen and I felt at ease. This was truly one of the best dental experiences I have ever had. He somehow put in the shot, and it did not hurt at all! He then continued to do a root canal on my very back top molar, and I have a very small mouth. He never once even berated me for that fact, ha ha ha. What a wonderful dentist and a great man.

I have lived in Ithaca since 2008 and have used at least 5 dental practices. But the best dentist I have had since 2019 is Dr. Marc Purdy. His knowledge and abilities surpass every other dentist I have ever had. He and his excellent staff are very accommodating. They are exceptional in that they will do the paperwork involved to submit to your insurance if you use. They give a senior discount.
