My recent visit to Dr. Menkowitz’s office was the second one, having been referred by another physician for a spinal situation that requires monitoring. The first visit was with Courtney, the NP and this last visit was with Dr. Menkowitz. I left both times believing that I was listened to and I was seen as a patient, not as an MRI result, and am in good hands going forward should my situation change. The front desk staff is personable, and efficient, not always a given in med/surg offices.
My experience with Dr.Menkowitz and my treatment with my spinal surgery was amazing. I was one of the first few patients that had a spinal fusion done robotically five years ago. My recovery from the surgery was a lot quicker due to the fact that it was done robotically and it was less invasive. I had planned a cruise and was concerned that if I had the surgery when it was scheduled that I wouldn’t be able to go. Dr Menkowitz is a wonderful and skillful surgeon with an excellent bedside manner. He explains every detail of your condition and how it can be corrected. He goes above and beyond in caring for his patients throughout their treatment. I highly recommend Dr Menkowitz and his entire staff.
