Waited forever for an appointment. Spent like all of 15 minutes. Ascribed real symptoms to stress. Didn't get relief until changed doctors. This was several years ago perhaps he has improved.
Dr. Lederhandler is one of the most thorough doctors you can have. I had a situation 6 years ago, and was sent by my doctor to another gastroenerologist to have my colonoscopy done: and there wasn't any proper follow-up and that doctor missed a lot, I a mean a LOT of things, so a few years later, I encounter problems again, this time, my new primary care doctor's office highly recommended Dr. Lederhandler specifically for my problems- I'm so happy they did. Accidents happen. I had a life-threatening complication after a procedure by Dr. Lederhandler. His office did not return my call for 12 hours; but when they did they were in full self-protection mode: they wanted me to only use their ER where theoretically they would be waiting for me (I went there, they weren't) and were horrified when told I had gone to a different ER. I had suffered with ulcerative colitis for two years without it into remission. Dr. Lederhandler was frank, knowledgable, and dedicated. I had been remiss with my medication and Dr. Lederhandler was quite stern about my responsibility which I appreciated. After a number of visits over a three month period, several phone calls exchanged between us, and close observation by the doctor, my U.C. went into remission. Very good doctor caring and concern about the patient.
Dr. Lederhandler needs to learn time management. I had an appointment and was asked to come in early. I arrive 15 minutes early and still was not taken care of by the doctor after 1/2 hr. wait. My time is also valuable.
