Post op I was being sent home with a pain med that has always made me sick. I asked for a different pain medication (which has NEVER been an issue in this health system following any previous procedure as the other pain med that they prescribe is equivalent) and was refused more than once. I was sent home with a pain med I couldnt take after an emergency abdominal surgery.
