Great care and knowledge Dr. Eisenbaum - my doctor for over 20 years. In that time his staff has always been polite and has taken the time to determine what amount of time I need. The diagnosis is usually spot on and I have never felt rushed to leave or that any of my questions were nonsensical or unusual. Both he and his Nurse Practioner are very professional and knowledgeable on all aspects of adult care - and if not sure, will send you to a specialist, just in case.
The Best Doctor Dr. Eisenbaum is the best. He literally saved my life and my marriage. I was suffering from depression that had gone undiagnosed by all my previous physicians. While I suspected that something was not right, I had no idea that depression was the problem and that it was treatable. Fortunately, Dr. Eisenbaum diagnosed my depression and prescribed the proper medication, which has turned both my personal life and my marriage around. The problems other reviewers say about the staff is typical and endemic to all do... read more
Dr. Eisenbaum and Nurse Practitioner Penny I could not be happier with the treatment I have received from Dr. Eisenbaum and his Nurse Practioner Penny. They truly seem to know me and care about me as an individual. That is so difficult to find in such a large metropolitan area. They always take as much time as necessary in talking with me. Dr. Eisenbaum is exceptionally knowledgeable and a skilled diagnostician. It is not hard to understand why he has gotten such excellent ratings via Washingtonian Magazine. He really is out... read more
Dr. Eisenbaum - Follow the rules, don't treat the patient I am new to the area and recently had a serious ear infection. I was referred to Dr. Eisenbaum, called and was informed that he would not be able to treat me. Rather, I would need to come in for a full physical and then be treated. Those are the office rules, the "customer service" person stated. So, rather than treat a potentially dangerous ear infection acquired abroad and potentially getting a new family as clients, I am going to another doctor.Having grown up in a... read more
A great doctor and marvelous office staff I simply cannot believe the description of the office staff several people have given. I have been going to Dr. Eisenbaum for over eight years and think the office staff is one of the happiest and most cheerful I've ever encountered ( and I go to a lot of doctors). All doctors instruct you to come 15 to 30 minutes early to fill out forms if you are new. I also have never known an office that didn't occasionally have a wait time(you should go to my dermatologist). Dr. Eisenbaum himsel... read more
Very thorough and knowlegable I'm very pleased with the doctor. Really listens and is up to date. Gave me a great physical with apprpriate follow-up. Non judgemental and practical.
Deepy disappointed-highly overrated Waited 3 months for an appt for general checkup-based on Checkbook and Washington magazine as well as reviews on Aetna website. I was informed upon arrival that I was considered late because I was simply on time for my appt and not early enough to complete paperwork - which was all concerning payment. At no time did I fill out information on my past illnesses, family history. Nor was I asked during interview w/doctor. I told him I was experiencing shortness of breath - he never even asked ... read more
just run-of-the-mill I agree with the other reviewer. Long wait. NOt much personal care. Very routine. Great fro cough and cold. A lot of referrals. Staff are very unfriendly and are not personable.
Not a Particularly Impressive Doctor, But Adequate for a General Physician When I signed up for my insurance plan, I had to find a primary physician from a list of participating doctors. I made my decision based on the location of the office and the review on the Checkbook magazine. Most people seemed to like this doctor. When I called his office, his staff was not too friendly. She seemed very proud that they had a large number of patients already, and that she was doing me a favor to take me in. I made my first annual chec... read more
