Dr. Sokolow is one of the few true old school physicians left. When you have an appointment with him, you can be sure he will see you at the agreed upon time. He leaves enough time between patients so you are not the one waiting on him. I assume emergencies do occur that would alter that, but it hasn't happened to me in 10+ years. When you have tests done, he personally calls you with the results. His office manner and attention to detail is why I have continued call him my personal physician.

I wish there were negative stars. Sokolow misdiagnosed my husband as having bronchitis (for 3 weeks, and after 3 visits, when he finally did a chest x ray), when actually it was cancer! After the 3rd visit to his office for the same issue, he finally ordered a chest x ray. When the results came in. Sokolow called and told my husband to go to St. Joe's where he had privileges because he thought he had pneumonia. He said he would send medical information, and see him there.
