Dr. Weinberg us a brilliant cardiologist! I have been under his care for over 40 years. When I am hospitalized for any reason, not necessarily cardiology, he makes it his business to come in and make a visit to me. I can always count on him to return my calls very quickly. Please remember to keep him in mind when considering a cardiologist!
Dr. Weinberg is a fantastic doctor. His office staff is horrendous. It is impossible to get through to anyone, and they are completely incompetent in obtaining pre-authorizations for tests and procedures.
Absolutely terrible doctor. Misses diagnoses, dismisses some very important abnormal labs and x-rays. Doesn't take the time to repeat important lab results resulting in wrong diagnoses, then eventually reverses his diagnosis. Very poor contact, abrupt over phone. Seems superficial and uncaring. Didn't follow up on an abnormal x-ray; had to find a new internist that found many abnormalities that this doctor missed. No office visit in past few years, as patient died.
