For being a poor man's version of cold stone the service is pretty bad and unpleasant
Have gone there several times and the staff is always rude and does not acknowledge your presence when you come in. Tonight I went there and wanted to sit outside. I noticed the tables that are normally outside were stacked inside. I asked the employee why the outside tables were still inside and she said "I didn't want to put them out". This was at 7:30 at night, so all of the employees that were there before her "didn't want to put" the outside furniture out, either. I left and went somewhere else. I have not been to one of these places in a long time and was so pleased that my kids got a hand made ice cream cone! We loved it!
I live in El Paso and happened to be in Allen area for a visit last week. Kids wants to have an ice cream from Marble Slab. We went to this Marble Slab in Allen and got great product with a good Attitude, friendly staff and pricing. Kids loved it and the staff was great. I highly recommend this place for a good ice cream and lovely environment.
Horrible OWNERS and Prices! – Owners at Marble Slab are HORRIBLE! Went in and a worker was blabbing his mouth about how he got another worker fired then how the OWNERS didn't even give him a notice, just CALLED him over the phone! WOW! Plus they are WAY to Expensive!

Misleading Ad on Groupon – I bought the Groupon for a 8” ice cream cake from Marble Slab Creamery in Austin, TX, 06/16/11. The picture of the cake in the ad was misleading. The ad itself was misleading. In addition, even the discussion session was not ‘real’. It is just ‘tricky’, ‘funny’, and ‘dishonest’. 1. Teeny, tiny chocolate covered strawberries were a ripoff! – I ordered 15 chocolate covered strawberries from them for Mother's Day. When I picked them up, they were 15 of the tiniest strawberries ever and the chocolate tasted like the chocolate shell you buy in the grocery store. This was definitely not worth $30! What a ripoff!
Amazing Customer Service!!! Delicious Ice Cream!!!! – The moment I walked into the store the friendly workers greeted me and treated me like I was a regular customer. The workers gave me suggestions on what to purchase and what type of mix-ins go with each ice cream. The ice cram was delicious. My wife got fresh fruits in her ice cream and you can taste the freshness in the real fruits that they serve to the customer.
