Poor customer service, frustrating experience. We were completely ignored by the staff — no greeting, no offer to help. They were chatting jokes amongst themselves. When I approached an employee to ask for assistance, they were curt, unhelpful, and clearly uninterested in answering basic questions about the gear, and their attitude made it feel like I was bothering them. My experience at Marathon Sports was wonderful! Having visited the store on my way to a dinner reservation 30 minutes prior to closing, I was only hoping to have a few questions answered. However, Tyler was welcoming and insisted that he would be happy to help with a full fitting. He was thorough in explaining the shoe type that would help to alleviate the pain I’ve been experiencing after running in my current shoes.
