Easy to rent, good value, no issues. I'd recommend using them.
I rented the 24’ Boston Whaler. They dropped it off in my slip, and picked it up. The boat as a huge fuel tank and a 250hp Yamaha. Does about 35 with a good ride. It’s an old boat so don’t expect perfection but we had a blast. Never had a problem with anything. The Garmin chart reader worked flawlessly. I’d rent it again.
Rented from them for 2 years now. Miguel is the man. Call/text and he gets it done. Great company to work with. We will be a repeat customer for many years.
Under no circumstances should you ever rent a boat from marathon boat rentals. The boats are not only unfit for purpose but genuinely dangerous. This is not just a disgruntled customer this is advice
Rented a 22 foot Boston Whaler for two weeks at a much lower cost than other boat renters in the Keys. The first week the 22 footer was not available but a 25 footer was substituted at no extra cost. These are older bare bones boats quite suitable for fishing. Each boat had a large ice chest and a live well. There was no compass but they each had a good quality Garmin GPS/chart/depth finder. The only problem was with a fuel filter on the 25 foot boat but that was promptly fixed by Miguel, the rental manager.
