In the nearly three years that Dr. Roth was purportedly overseeing my thyroid cancer care, she never once read my test results. I had to read my own labs and each time my Levothyrozine had to be adjusted, I had to message her to point it out. I talked to her about it, to no avail. My experience with Dr Roth is the back of her head. She prejudged my care after reviewing old labs and assessing me as hyperthyroid. I had done new labs and followed through with my care. I had a micro aggressive carcinoma- which was minimized from the onset but when total thyroidectomy was completed the cancer was in both lobes - which was not expected and I needed to follow up with radioactive treatment. Dr. Roth is very kind and friendly. She was unable to diagnose and treat a cortisol issue but tried. UW/SCCA doctors are just limited to the tools and labs they have. Her nurses are nice and responsive. The SCCA attending radiologists misdiagnosed a recurrence and Dr. Roth did not check their work so following at SCCA for endocrine cancers is not thorough unfortunately. But if you are willing to work hard and direct your care you can get some management taken care of here.

Caring and thorough! She is a great Dr.
