Had such a good experience today at Mara’s salon today! Love my cut, and Mara is so sweet. The price is reasonable, location is perfect in downtown Glencoe, I will be back! She also does kids cuts.
I finally gave Mara Max Hair Salon a try after walking by it countless times, and I’m so glad I did! Mara is the owner and has more than 30 years of experience, and it absolutely shows. I’m pretty low-key when it comes to my hair — I wanted simple, flattering layers that would be easy to maintain — and Mara absolutely nailed it. I loved how my hair turned out!
So glad I found Mara Max. Besides always leaving the shop with "perfect hair" you feel like you made a new friend. She cares about each of her clients. She has a sign that reads...I'M A BEAUTICIAN NOT A MAGICIAN. She does magic with my hair.
