Super cute and small hotel. Loved the vibe. Beds were soo comfy, ac was a little loud. They allowed us super early check in. Took bikes to pier for a lovely dinner. Will be back
Lobby and outdoor areas are nice, but the rest of the hotel is a glorified motel. From old carpets to cheap cleaning product smell everywhere, dark hallways and elevators permanently out of order. From super slow check in process to mandatory 68$ valet (no self parking, thankfully there’s free street parking) an 6$ waters. Gym is extremely tiny, and most rooms do not have ocean view even when facing the water, because it’s only two three stories high and on the other side of the road blocked by a diff building.
I arrived today on an early flight (10a.m.). I did not expect I would be able to check-in, which was fine. I let the front desk attendant know that I was here and would appreciate any accommodation once check in was available to allow me to work today. I never heard another thing until after 4:00p.m., which is standard check in time. They did not offer to hold my luggage, make accommodations for me to work beyond sitting in the lobby, or offer me the chance to upgrade to a room that was ready for an additional fee. Beware of the lines when you arrive because I had to wait half an hour before being able to check in and they don’t even have enough bell carts for my luggage. Parking is valet only and they charge around 50$ while street parking is almost impossible to find. The room is terrible, humid, lack of renovation and the sink could get clogged at any minute. Our stay at this hotel was not a very good experience. When we arrived, there was only one person at the front desk. There were already six or seven guests waiting to check in, and we had to wait about 20 minutes before it was our turn. The carpet in the hallway made it very hard to pull my suitcase. The wheels could not move smoothly, and I had to use a lot of effort to drag my luggage to the room. In the room, the sink seemed to be clogged.
