MAR is unlike any other place gym I have been too. Mike and his team of trainers are 1st class: inspiring, knowledgeable and truly invested in your success. The sense of community among the members is contagious and really has me looking forward to each class I attend. Finally, I enjoy that the program that is followed can and is tailored to each person and there individual need and goal. Great facility and environment in downtown Downers Grove that is as unique and inspiring as they come for a workout facility!
MAR Health and Performance is truly second to none. Mike actually cares about all of his clients and goes above and beyond with his communication to ensure that you are on the best health/wellness/stength journey that fits your needs. I had the pleasure of working out with Anell during a personal training session and she is so sweet and kind, but also a super strong and brilliantly educated strength coach. While the two of them are amazing— the facilities are also great, and most importantly, super clean!!
If you struggle with keeping workouts fresh and interesting enough to keep dragging yourself back to the gym over the course of the year, then check out MAR. They do a great job with their trainer-led, small group workouts that focus on lower body, upper body front, and upper body back with a new set of exercises every two weeks. They also have conditioning and core exercises classes plus open cardio and weight options as well.
