I have worked at several different facilities over the years and have had to work with many different management styles and co-worker camaraderie, some good, some not so good and some that are not worth mentioning, but Maplewood has proven to be my favorite. This facility is wonderful! They accept people on Medicaid AND give them their own apartment, there is no other facility in the area that does this due to money. When you walk in the front door the receptionist is always smiling and the staff and residents are all very inviting. It is obvious that they care about their residents and each other. This place is horrid! They murdered my poor father by starving him to death! Horrible staff that smoke in the parking lot rather than do their job! Nurse mary needs to be in prison! Filthy...bed bugs...horrible food! Management is worthless! Find another facility that actually cares!
