I had a disappointing experience renting with Mapleton Management in 2023. I’m giving two stars because some issues were addressed as we were moving out, but overall, it was not a good experience. Backstory: I was new to the city and unfortunately chose the wrong roommates. The Zillow listing had poor photos, but the video made the place seem promising. AVOID. Communication is dismal and Dale only responds when it is convenient for him. We reported a malfunctioning washer/dryer appliance that caused black marks on all our clothes, but instead of getting it fixed, we were flat-out denied any assistance or repairs. Dale managed our Hill Property "home" for over two years, and then he listed and sold it for us! He was professional, knowledgeable, respectful, trustworthy, dependable, honest and frankly was a flat out life saver. I managed it personally for 45 years before a close friend convinced me to let go and hand it over specifically to Dale. Smartest business move I ever made. It just was too long coming. Was very disappointed with this management company and especially Dale's actions (or lack thereof) as a property manager. Moved into an apartment that was not ready for us (nothing was cleaned and gross furniture was left behind -- mostly because there was a 24-hour difference between the previous tenants moving out and us moving in) and was completely oblivious to requests to get the place cleaned.
