We were in town on a weekend getaway and found this place on our way back home. We didn't really know what to expect, but we're blow away by the taste and freshness of the food. It was definitely a highlight food stop on our trip!
Service was phenomenal. Coffee was good. I didn’t know what to expect having been here for the first time. You order at the counter and they deliver your food to your table. It was a bit loud in the seating area and the lightning was a little spotty. Very bright in some areas and not others. The air conditioning also hit some tables much harder than others. We had the retro - two eggs, bacon, and biscuit and gravy. I’d go back.
Loved the Chix & Waffles it was so delicious with balance of savory/ sweet waffles and the most enticing fried chicken (not heavily battered) with specs of black pepper to spice things up a bit and really draw out all the flavor combinations you would want in a proper southern Chicken & Waffles. With the friendly staff, and delicious options I highly recommend checking it out!
