It is hard to understand why large corporations buy businesses and destroy them, but sadly that is what is happening with Maple Street after their purchase by Cracker Barrel. The perfectly cooked biscuits are now hockey pucks, the gravy lost all its kick and now tastes worse than a store-bought can of Libby’s sausage gravy, and the eggs are cooked with no care. Biscuits and gravy were awful, the biscuits were hard, reason for the lower service score was there were only 2 people working in a bigger “restaurant”, including the cook, this is a walk up and order not a sit down restaurant, tables outside were dirty with food in-between the cracks
