Our mom moved into Maple Ridge in 2019. She loves the staff, who make her feel like family. They truly care about the residents and work hard to create an active environment that keeps them engaged in the Ashland community, including trips to concerts, local parades, and more. My mom lived in independent living there for 6 yrs. She went into hospice at age 104, a few weeks ago. She only quit driving about 5 years ago, and we shopped at BiMart a month ago, so she was very much up and around. You have to understand that my mother liked everyone always, she had more friends and more of an interest in people than anyone I know. My mom was not looking forward to moving from her home of 30 years into an assisted living facility. She worried about fitting in with the residents and staff, about not liking her apartment, about being too difficult to care for, etc...but her experience at Maple Ridge was comforting and positive.
