Nicely updated rooms, prompt responses from hotel staff. Overall, an amazing value for the price. Nothing fancy, but comfortable updated rooms at a great price.
Made the reservation through VRBO. Somehow, the reservation never cleared until my arrival at the property. There is rarely anyone on site, but they were easy to reach by phone. Fortunately a room was still available, they have me a code and I got into my room. The room was warm and clean. Could use some updating, but was sufficient for my needs during the week.
Sorry, even if owners look very kind and attentive, this room doesn’t justify a high price like this. It’s close from Lake Placid ok. But Very old and cold room with crooked beds (inclined with the head down!) . We stayed 10 minutes and decided to not sleep there
We locked ourselves out of the room and they came over late at night help us into our room very quickly
