Such a Wonderful Time at the Maple Leaf Fall Fest! I had the absolute best time at the Maple Leaf Fall Fest this year! From start to finish, the entire event was so well organized and full of that perfect cozy, festive fall feeling. Look at this 2 months later trees are dying. And of course MLF puts the blame on us not watering the trees enough. We even paid 60 per tree to have them planted by the farm! 2600 down the drain and they act like it was 50 bucks spent. No care in the world. We followed the directions given to us by the planter. When I followed up with the farm once one tree turned all brown and the others started changing pretty quickly they said they have resources in how to care for the trees. So many products. I love the donuts so delicious with the peppermint cocoa, I got the 5.00 smores kit it makes 2 . Be careful the metal holder for marshmallows, the red tabs come off other than that so yuuummy. The train ride was 10 minutes , a 30 minute wait. All and all a lovely experience except dirty tables and dirty bathrooms.
This review is specifically for Maple Leaf Farms and the way staff handled our visit. We attended the Christmas light walk-through and Santa experience, which itself was lovely and something my children genuinely enjoyed. Unfortunately, our interaction with staff significantly overshadowed the experience. I attended as a single mom with my two young children and my fully trained service dog.
