We moved our 92 yr. old Mom to Emory Ridge because the care she was receiving at an Assisted Living/Memory Care facility had declined significantly and the director was not interested in making any changes. This place is amazing! My mom has been there for almost a year and has made huge milestones since she moved in. She was unable to walk or stand alone and was in a wheelchair. She can now stand and walk without a walker. She never came out of her room before and now she comes out and socializes all day. The nurses treat her like family. My mom smiles all the time and is extremely happy since she moved in. This is her favorite nurse and I love how much she loves her! Seeing pictures and videos on social media of elderly dementia patients exploited and laughed at, is extremely worrisome. Being a “content creator” is obviously more important to this young lady than taking care of these patients. I have colored their faces to protect what little privacy they have left.
Do not provide proper care for your loved one. Can not receive an answer for the care or concerns of your loved one. Ask many times do not receive a response.
I enjoy working , the environment is welcoming I love the residents the activist they do with the residents to keep active , every working here is lovely to be around and brings positivity into the atmosphere. The Executive director is wonderful she’s always availability to help and very hands on n cares as well
