I am very disappointed with my overall with MAPFRE Insurance. Customer service should be about more than collecting payments. It should also involve understanding customers, offering reasonable solutions, and showing flexibility when unexpected issues happen. Recently, I was charged a $25 fee after an automatic payment failed due to insufficient funds. I am still in the process of working with MAPFRE on a claim. The employees I have spoken with have been pleasant and helpful, but there seems to be a significant disconnect in the way the claims process is communicated. From the beginning, no one clearly explained what to expect, the approximate timeframe, what documents would eventually be required, or what steps would follow after the adjuster completed the claim.
