What a joke! I got one of the two "glamping" tent cabins. For over $160/night (with taxes etc) you don't even get bedding, not available even to rent at extra cost! So what's that "G" in the name standing for? (Certainly not "glamour"!) All you get is a prison style mattress on a bedstand, kinda filthy, covered in plastic. (First I had to evict a gang of fat months hiding under the bed. Ok, it's a "nature setting," so NVM...) The only "saving grace," I guess, is that it was available same day. But now we know why! Overall, the Manzanita Lake Camping Cabins are very nice, and the central washrooms areclean and well-maintained. The built-in heaters were broken in both of the cabins we booked. The staff did provide portable Buddy heaters as a backup, which we appreciated, but they just weren't effective enough to actually keep the cabins warm. It’s a great location to camp at and we will definitely be coming back.

Stayed here 2 nights on my pilgrimage to visit all 9 of California's national parks. The cabins are located close to the lake And have a fire ring table and a good sized bearbox. I recommend one of the single bed Cabins. because you're get a nice porch and windows. The Cabins, have a heater which is nice the beds have a three inch Foam mattress However, I've slept on more comfortable blocks of wood definitely bring an air mattress. However, these are some of the best Camp cabins I've stayed in.

Beautiful tiny cabins with just a bed (no bedding), a table, and heat. It still felt like camping, but we had a porch to sit on. This campsite was very well shaded, and it is very close to Mazanita Lake. We are already planning to return next year. This area is also great for tent camping due to the store and showers being at the entrance.
