I agree with the other reviewer. Dr.Hamoui was very dismissive and had the worst bedside manner. I was suffering from this weird swelling throughout my body and no one could help me. Finally, in June 2021, I was diagnosed with Lipedema, and a male MD covering for her referred me to the outpatient lymphedema clinic. That is when I began my journey to recovery. I switched to an NP instead and she is THE BEST!
Dr Hamaoui is the best doctor I have ever seen. She made me feel like she actually cared about me. She is super knowledgeable. I never felt rushed. I can not recommend her enough!
Dr. Hamaoui is a top notch primary care physician with the Summit Health group. She's also geriatrics and alternative/wholistic medicine trained and her empathy, expertise, deep concern for her patients' welfare and continued good health is beyond compare. She will never hurry you through the appointment, and make you feel like as if you were her only patient. First 2 visits she seemed like she wanted to help with my health issues. The last one, it was the worst visit I’ve ever had with a doctor. First of all she had a bad attitude. Condescending, dismissing and totally indifferent regarding my problem. Didn’t take my problem seriously and kept saying.. I don’t know how to help you, go see some other doctor. When I moved to Northern New Jersey last year, I was 76 years old and thought it was time that I had a gerontologist for my Primary Care Provider. I had no idea how right I was! In the past, I had the typical ailments associated with aging, but no one had their eye on the big picture, aging with grace. I am extremely pleased with the care that Dr. Hamaoui is providing.
