Unfortunately, I had an extremely upsetting experience with Dr. Manuel Rivera. During my appointment, he blamed my elevated blood sugars on my behavior and told me to “eat less junk food” and stop drinking Coke, despite my explaining that I do not eat sweets like that, do not drink soda, follow a low-sugar diet, and drink over two liters of water daily. My sister was assigned to Dr.Rivera for her high risk pregnancy. I had gone to several appointments with her. I can say that he is one of the rudest Doctors I have ever encountered. He spoke to my sister in a very condescending way. My sister herself has a doctorates degree and does her research on how to care for her diabetes, what to eat what not to eat. She has never been a person to eat junk food and at her appointment he told her to “stop eating twinkies and drinking coke” mind you she has never been one to eat or drink... read more
I'm very happy with Dr. Rivera and the staff at this office. Everyone is kind and I feel like my appointment are always on time and done in a timely manner.
Front desk ladies are rude.
