Dr Ferreira is a gifted surgeon and a great human being. He took care of our elderly father and treated him with respect and compassion. His team made sure that we, as the extended family are well taken care of. I specifically recognize his clinic nurse Delaney Miklusak RN for going above and beyond to take care of our needs. Thank you Dr Ferreira and team.
They will tell you Dr Ferriera is a great surgeon in the cherry picked reviews posted on UW. Truth is he will create mental health and other conditions like fibromyalgia you've never been diagnosed with. I think the positive reviews come because people are in high stress situations where their voices are heard due to things like brain tumors. In 2021 and 2022 I had 2 MVD surgeries and in the 2nd one a very tiny blood vessel was found at the very base of my cranial nerve insertion that was causing my HFS. Yes it took 2 surgeries to find all the culprits but his staff were wonderful, after surgery care was wonderful, Dr. Ferreira was wonderful. I have every confidence in him.
The experience with Manuel Ferreira was extremely traumatic. It’s taken more than a year for me to be able to share the experience we had with him and his team. My mom had a brain tumor and he was very confident during the initial appointments about removing the tumor. During Covid my beautiful daughter was 28 and misdiagnosed. Dr. Ferreira said she had a pituitary tumor. His staff was not compassionate. They had poor communication skills. She had a brain and adrenal tumor. He didn’t show up for appointments. Her time was very limited in getting her the treatment she needed. He gave her a few months to live even if he operated which he wanted to on a tumor that didn’t exist. Thank God we got a second opinion and got her to Rochester MN (Mayo Clinic).
