For 20 years I lived in pain in my back with L4-5 herniation and stenosis. I tried physical therapy, epidurals, facet blockers and by lateral epidurals which gave me some relief. It wasn’t until I met Joann who explained how the muscles work and showed me that much of my pain was muscle related. I am a retired physician and was experiencing chronic pain along my left IT band that was affecting my walking. I was seeing my orthopedic surgeon for a steroid injection in my right arthritic knee back in 2022. Joann was shadowing my orthopedist's PA that day and that is where we incidentally first met. I can’t recommend Joann enough. I suffered for decades with chronic pain that stumped countless PTs, chiropractors and ortho doctors. Years of MRIs, X-rays, injections and prescriptions never helped. Joann saw things they didn’t and solved the mystery of where and why I was always in pain. She is literally a life saver and gave me my life back. Unbelievable professionalism. Joann’s wealth of knowledge and experience has completely improved my shoulders and back problems. She’s highly receptive to understanding my pain and immediately responds with treatment plans. I was having severe knee pain for two days. I couldn’t sleep, had to work with the pain, and struggled to drive. Joann got me in on a zoom call the same day I called her, identified the issue and I was 90% better after the hour of working with her. No one at work could believe my improvement.
