Received a call while on route to inform that the lift was not working and that stairs would have to be used. Once I arrived greeted by a lovely lady who was already dealing with issues from others and trying to assist people to get their luggage up several flights of stairs. In the room I turned on the tv but no signal due to different plugs being installed that now no cords fit. The lady at reception and the young guy did try to assist but to no avail. DO NOT STAY HERE: The list of things that are awful is never ending but here are a few. The Balcony sliding door was broken - it cannot be locked, anyone could just break in, if they did they'd turn around and leave though. It is located in an industrial estate with most rooms facing industrial units and a car repair workshop (they start at 7am panel beating) plus the Business' Skips get emptied during the night all night long. I arrived 15 mins prior to my check in time and my room was not ready so I was “ upgraded” to an apartment. OMG I would’ve preferred to sleep in my car. The apparent was infested with cockroaches, it was certainly not clean, it seemed dusty and 100% not cleaned between visits. The couch was so badly stained that I refused to sit on it without coverage. The cutlery and crockery were odd bods and not enough for more than 3 people . It was around 5:30 when we got into the room. A cool day so I looked for the remote control for the a/c. Couldn't find. I went downstairs and spoke to the duty manager who told me to look around it should be there in the holster or by the bed. I eventually found a remote in the bedroom which worked for the bedroom a/c. It also sort of worked for the lounge a/c but the vents just blew downwards.
