Fall ‘25 review - I’m updating my review below after the Fall season. I can’t quite go 5 star but there have been SIGNIFICANT improvements on all fronts. The refs aren’t perfect (that’s not even a reasonable expectation) but they are sooo much better. The ridiculous cancellations have completely stopped and we will be staying with MSA. The complaints about communication are for the coaches but these are volunteers folks, parents need to have some empathy as these are the volunteers that keep our kids playing. I have to defend the staff of MSA as they are all volunteers just trying to help out and make this work. They all have other jobs. I have always had good results emailing but have never really called the office. Once on a team, it is up to the coach for communication. I read several comments about the lack there of. That's not really on the association. (It is frustrating nonetheless) I have coached for some years with them now and I have to agree with the referee situation. Deserves 0 stars referees need at least the minimum training there bias how is that they called a hand ball on one team & gave kid yellow card but when the other team did a hand ball in the box no call no card?
I do not even want to post one star review because I am extremely disappointed in MSA. This is my granddaughters second year but here we are 3 days before the first season game begins and no body whatsoever has been in touch. No coach, no team, no teammates, no jersey, no practice, no communication, not even on the few times MSA answered the phone. We registered and paid in full back in July. Why can't they do their part. Deeply Disappointed After Years with MSA It truly saddens me to write this review. My daughter has been a member of the Mansfield Soccer Association for the past three years, starting at the age of four.
