Warning! I feel like I got totally stitched up after my car broke down and had to get it towed to Mansfield. As a European specialist, I got it taken to Mansfield Automotive Specialist. They ended up charging me $1400 just to diagnose what was wrong with my car, without pre-approval of this massive cost. (To be fair, it was a very detailed diagnostic and I'm not questioning the quality of this, just the surprise bill!) I will never ever take my car or my partners car to this mechanic ever again. To have a simple fuel problem fixed it took one month, it'sat in the workshop for one and a half weeks because the car wasn't booked in, and they did bugger all they then laid on charges such as a low voltage battery, the battery was low because of constant starting by my partner, then charged us to $280 dollars for a new battery what a rip-off. $3500 to replace a fuel pump!?!? Think about it, cars have a computer that diagnosis the problem?!?

I can't recommend this guy to out of towners. Feel he fairly stitched me up for thousands. I'd rather tow my car to a trusted mechanic in Melbourne
