Reached out to Manotick Tree Movers to have them look at my very tall maple. They explained how it should be thinned out to allow the wind to past through making it a safer tree in bad weather and to provide the necessary gaps to encourage strong growth. They completed on the day scheduled and did an excellent job as they also had me review and made any adjustments that I asked for. Still my preferred tree service company.
Nick at Manotick Tree Movers was great. I'm in the process of purchasing a home with a tree that I was anticipating having to remove in the back yard. We recently used Manotick Tree to remove our large unhealthy Norway Maple. This was our 3rd opportunity to hire this company to do work for us and have been pleased every time. I highly recommend Manotick Tree Movers if you are thinking of having trees planted. From patiently answering my questions before I purchased any trees to explaining the process when I purchased them. The crew, Ken and Jake, who planted the trees were very friendly and professional. They placed a trap down for the earth they removed from the trees and also used a plywood sheet for the excavator to drive on so as to not damage our lawn.
