I've had 3 abdominal surgeries (the last one abot 4 months ago) and also experienced severe post-exercise pain for years, leading me to stop working out altogether. The physiotherapist has worked with me to get me back to working out without pain and discomfort. My energy levels and overall wellbeing are improving, and I am very grateful for the help from Manotick Physioworks.
I have been going to Manotick physioworks for over 2yrs now. The staff are absolutely wonderful. If you suffer from pelvic floor issues, I highly recommend Meghan, she is great at what she does!
If you are expecting a baby, do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment with Meghan for Pelvic Floor Therapy. I have seen Meghan for multiple appointments and each time has been better and better. She has helped with my SI pain, pelvic stretching, taught proper Kegels and proper breathing technic for delivery. Meghan is extremely knowledgeable at what she does and takes the time to explain technical terms and the “why” behind her examples.
