I requested a refund only FOUR HOURS after making the payment, and they refused. The new eyeglasses were not going to be ready for another WEEK. Even more absurdly, this all happened on a SATURDAY. It is extremely difficult to believe that within those four hours, any meaningful work on my glasses had already been completed—or even started—to justify refusing a refund. I was concerned about the lens index. Before checking out, I repeatedly asked what the exact refractive index of the lenses would be—specifically, whether they were 1.60—but the doctor never gave me a direct answer. I was only told that “high-index” lenses would cost 20% more. But what exactly does “high-index” mean here? Are we talking about 1.60 or 1.67?
