My mother was taken to Manor Care when she broke her ankle in June. We went to this place sight unseen straight from the hospital . I was so pleased and the nursing staff is so considerate & caring with the patient. She has healed from her ankle, but hasn't any strength in her legs do to other health issues. My mom does need 24/7 care. She is now a permanent resident & is very happy there. I highly recommend Manor Care.
(She's no longer alive) My grandmother is bedridden, and long term here. She is so lonely, even with a roommate. Pain prevents her from sitting in a wheelchair, so her legs have been neglected and are almost useless now. Since she can't sit for long, she is never taken out of her room. They offer no in room enrichment save for a tv. She just lays there sad, while others can at least participate in the first floor activities. My mom was here for 10 days after she broke her femur. She was very happy with her care and especially thankful for Tierney, her PT. Mary and Gerdip were wonderful, as well. The decor was older but that made mom feel more at home. I would recommend Manor Care for a rehab facility.
