I called Manor Park Medical Practice at 8:15 am and was first in the queue, yet my call was only answered after 25 minutes. When Yasmin, the receptionist, finally answered, I politely asked how many receptionists were handling calls, given the long wait despite being first in the queue. She refused to answer my question, made the conversation unnecessarily complicated, and came across as extremely rude and unprofessional. Very disappointing experience.
All 1 star reviews on here are absolutely true. Receptionist staff extremely rude and passive aggressive, long wait (I understand there are covid delays but other surgeries do not have this) calling for 40 minutes just to be hung up. My 3-year-old daughter was seen by Dr. Amit Chawla for high fever, cough, and an eye infection. However, he only looked her eyes and didn’t even bother to check her temperature. Her condition got worse within a day. More concerningly, he kept my wife and daughter waiting while he was typing notes from a previous patient. This experience felt completely unprofessional. Going forward, I will request that we are seen by any other doctor but him.
