I attended a wedding reception at The Manor on the Bay on September 27, 2025. While the venue itself is aesthetically pleasing and offers a beautiful setting, I feel compelled to caution others, particularly those hosting culturally diverse or non-white events to seriously reconsider. What should have been a joyful and love-filled celebration quickly turned into a distressing and unsettling experience. This is a Very nice house and a very nice property. HOWEVER If you are any other races than white and are looking to book an event at this house BE ADVISED. Now newly where is my husband and I lived over this property to host our wedding reception. This property is listed that it host events and again it is very nice so we booked it. Where do I begin with this nightmare. 9/27 I attended my friend's wedding. Cops were called on us regarding our music being to loud which it wasn't this was around 7pm Destin, FL, has quiet hours between 10 PM and 7 AM. We attended a close friend’s wedding at Mannor on the Bay this past weekend, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The property was rented out specifically for a wedding, yet the owner told the renters there was a strict “no noise after 10 PM” policy. Despite this, the police arrived due to neighbor complaints and shut down the reception at 8:35 PM — well before the stated quiet hours. Don't get me wrong. The place is beautiful, but on the other hand the neighbors are obnoxious police was called threats was made and money was wasted it was very hard to enjoy ourself
