My husband and I visited Manor House Inn for their Memorial Day opening weekend! We were gifted the stay to celebrate our recent marriage and what a wonderful gift it was! We felt so peaceful, cared for, and surprisingly adventurous. We had an incredible time at the Manor House! Blair was so wonderful. Breakfast every morning was incredible and the grounds were lovely. We stayed in the Clemens suite and loved the views of the gardens. I highly recommend staying here, and I’ll definitely be back.
Highly recommend!!! The owners, Blair and Fell are very welcoming. The home is a beautiful old home full of charm. It is very clean with wonderful amenities, like a bar are with cookies, snacks, tea, etc. My daughter and I walked to the local Pub, which has a restaurant side that felt more fine dining than pub. The entire town is safe and has a historic atmosphere. I highly recommend to anyone traveling in the area.
The Manor House Inn must be one of the best kept secrets in Connecticut! From the moment we arrived, we felt at home and relaxed, welcomed by such an engaging and kind innkeeper. Such deep thoughtfulness has gone into every detail of the home, from the delicious homemade caramels in the front to the Alice in Wonderland pictures throughout to the beautiful guidebook offering details on everything you need to know about nearby activities, restaurants and Inn history.
