Robert and Sharon Schmidt purchased the building when the Chevy Dealership decided to close their doors. Robert had been working for the previous owners for 13 years. The couple was able to keep the doors open throughout the changeover and the name was officially changed from Manning Motor Company to Manning Service Center.
