Equine Treasure within City Limits – Manito is a charming historic equine facility with the conveniences of a modern indoor arena, lighted outdoor arena, peaceful trail riding, hot and cold water wash stall, secure tack room, trailer parking, club house and even proper restrooms. Honor Eagle – I am saddened to see that someone would use the death of our beloved Eagle to promote their own perverted and negative agenda. It's time for a reality check...without the love of Lisa Schadt...the center's owner...Eagle most likely would have gone the way of most horses when they are no longer productive...destroyed. So much more to this place than just horses!!! – I must give my opinion on Lisa Schadt and Manito. When my daughter was 12, about 14 years ago, we discovered this wonderful place. It literally changed our lives for the better. As soon as we entered the property for the first time, we both felt a soothing sense of calm and peace - something we both really needed. great place! – My daughter rode at Manito during her childhood and would have moved into one of the stalls if we would have allowed her to! She gained many life skills and a good work ethic through volunteer work at this farm. Some of her best friendships in life were formed at this beautiful place and she has precious memories that will be part of her forever. amazing place – I have lived in various places throughout the U.S. and have ridden extensively most of my life. This place is amazing. I have gotten to know the staff and owner very well over the last years. The manager and owner are genuine, caring people who work hard to maintain the peace, tranquility and beautiful setting that make the place so special. Not a very good place – This is place is definitely not a place to go to!! First off, the owner, Lisa, is never on property and when she is she is always freaking out about something. She seems like a very paranoid lady that doesn't trust anybody. The barn manager, Roy, is friendly but is very two faced. He is constantly talking badly about people behind their backs and making fun of people. A Great Place – If you are looking for peace and tranquility in a beautiful setting, this is the place to be. I have been a horse person for most of my life, have been through the show circuits, have seen it all. At the end of the day, the things that matter are what this place is all about.
