I was dismissed. Very arrogant. Said to me that all of the recent events/things that has medically changed since I saw him last year did not apply to him. He said that more than once. I actually apologized to him for saying anything about that. He never looked up from his computer. I explained several times that I again started symptoms that was related to his “field”. 1) Dr. Dhawan was one hour and 45 minutes late for my 10:45 am appointment on April 14. 2) A bone marrow biopsy had to be scheduled for me. I informed Dr. Dhawan that I was getting married on May 1 so the biopsy could not conflict with that. Nevertheless, his clinic scheduled the biopsy for 2 days before my wedding (April 29). 3) When I phoned Rapides Regional Medical Center to reschedule the biopsy, I had a lot of difficulty proving I was the patient because the Mary Bird Perkins Center gave them the wrong first name for me... read more
