The food was very delicious and service top notch. The owner is always checking to see how customers are doing and if they are enjoying the food. My waitress, Maddie was super sweet and attentive...making sure I was satisfied and comfortable. The owner's son was just as impressive, checking on others and extremely kind. Coming from a military family, and born and raised in San Diego California (unfortunately, but I moved from that state years ago!), I'm no foreigner to Filipino food. Strolled in around 7:00 p.m. I was the only person here except for another gentlemen who actually just walked through the door. Neat little place. One of the best hamburgers in the area.
Was driving by this place today, have driven by it a thousand times. Smelled the smoke coming from a wood fired pit. The smell hit me because I’ve been doing KY style hickory smoked BBQ competitions for decades. Not many people use real wood to cook anymore. Decided to stop and give it a try. Don’t get turned off by the fact that the restaurant it’s attached to a gas station because this lady cooks really good Filipino food ! My mother in law who’s Filipina as well and also very picky, left so happy right now after pork adobo, lumpia, fried pork belly and halo halo!! We will definitely come back to try more!!
